I’m passionate about helping folks solve their financial puzzles. I strive to help people make sense out of investments, structure financial plans, and enhance their decision-making process.

After decades with Fortune 500 firms including at the executive level, I became a financial advisor in 2008 to help people achieve clarity and pursue their financial goals. I founded Fortius Financial LLC in 2014 so that I could move beyond mere portfolio management to focus more on the client and behavioral investment counseling.

I earned my Mathematics degree in 1986 from Pomona College in Claremont, CA, and went on to complete a Graduate Certificate Program at the University of Chicago School of Business in. I firmly believe that one should always continue to invest in oneself and their education, so in September 2020 I completed the CFP™ exam and certification.

Presently, I live in the town of Clinton, NJ with my wife of 40 years. We ardently believe that it is important to pay it forward, and are active in the community and our local church. I am also on the Board of North Hunterdon Rotary. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, bicycling, chess and surfing.
